The Technical Notice is a procedure of evaluation which concerns the capacity in the use, the performances, the conditions of implementation and the durability of products and the innovative processes. This Technical Notice is a quality security.

In the field of rainwaters, the Technical Notice is based on:

• the examination of the means of production,
• realization and the expertise of references in construction sites,
• the realization of tests in factory and in the laboratories of the CSTB,
• the examination by the Specialized Group N° 17 of all the justifications brought by the applicant.

The Technical Notice is an impartial appreciation formulated by a group of independent experts.

Fields of use

Blocks and panels Nidaplast^® EP and Nidaflow^® EP are intended for the realization of buried storage basins to allow the retention and\or the infiltration of rainwaters.

Appreciation on the product - quality of capacity in the use

• Respect for the conditions of conception and for implementation which can guarantee the right working of the system

• For a given volume, the 95 % void ratio limits the necessary volumes of excavation

• The modular conception is the right solution to adapt to the topographic constraints of the work

• Durability - Maintenance
  • • Considering the nature of the material (the polypropylene), the durability of blocks is insured
  • • Every drain of distribution can be accessible to cameras and tools of cleaning out from the glances of entrance and exit . This system can prevent the risks of sealing
  • • The cleaning out can be made only at the level of the drain, blocks do not require maintenance
  • • The implementation of a device of treatment can limit the frequency of the operations of cleaning out on the work.
• Manufacturing and control
  • • The manufacturing by extrusion of the components of blocks and panels Nidaplast^® EP and Nidaflow^® EP, is under internal controls integrated into a quality system based on the NF standard ISO 9001 ( 2008 )
  • • The internal and external controls can insure a suitable constancy of the quality.
• Implementation
  • • The lightness of blocks makes the implementation easy
  • • The respect for the conditions of implementation advised by nidaplast has to be applicated for the good working of buried storage basin made with blocks and panels Nidaplast^® EP and Nidaflow^® EP. The prescriptions defined by the master of work have to be applicated allowing the particular conditions of every work of retention and infiltration of rainwaters.
