Nidaroof panels, lightweight and resistant, are specially designed for temporary storage and retention of rainwater on flat roofs. With a 95% void ratio, Nidaroof optimises rooftop space while offering very high compression resistance, making it ideal for demanding urban environments.

Nidaroof panels ensure compliance with rainwater management regulations, which are particularly important for flat roof projects in urban areas. Efficient rooftop drainage is essential to avoid standing water, which can lead to infiltration, structural degradation or, in extreme cases, collapse.

To prevent such issues, Nidaroof works in synergy with efficient drainage systems and accessories for controlled collection and discharge. Combined with an appropriate waterproof membrane (bitumen, PVC, etc.), Nidaroof provides a temporary drainage layer that enables controlled water flow without overloading the structure.

The Nidaroof honeycomb structure is equipped with a porous geotextile which, combined with an appropriate rainwater drainage system, ensures safe water evacuation towards the designated pipes and outlets. During major weather events, associated overflow devices prevent accidental overloading. Installation must follow the standards defined in the DTU (Unified Technical Documents), ensuring compliance with local requirements and best practices.
