The Nidaplast 8HP product has received DNV Marine Type Approval and Germanischer Lloyd certification.

The honeycomb core has a density of 100 kg/m³, which increases resistance to impact and compression.
The compression strength of Nidaplast 8HP is 2.6 MPa (260 tonnes/m²).
The Nidaplast 8HP composite sandwich panel is covered with a polyester non-woven and a 50 μm PP plastic film, thermo-welded to the honeycomb.
The plastic film ensures the watertightness of the honeycomb and prevents excessive consumption of adhesive or resin.
The 45 g/m² non-woven ensures strong mechanical cohesion between the honeycomb and the facing to be applied.
The honeycomb is manufactured from polypropylene, a durable and 100% recyclable material.
The honeycomb structure, composed of 95% void, uses little material while providing high mechanical properties.
Nidaplast 8HP honeycomb panels are manufactured at our industrial site in France; these sandwich panels are impact-resistant and high-density.
