The underground stormwater storage modules measure 2400 mm x 1200 mm.
Honeycomb blocks and panels are available in two thicknesses to adjust the construction height to the site’s requirements. They promote stormwater storage and allow the creation of an underground infiltration or retention reservoir.
A honeycomb block 520 mm thick represents 1.5 m³.
One pallet contains 5 blocks, totalling 7.5 m³.
Three compression strengths are available: 400 – 500 – 600 kPa.
The nidaplast EP and nidaflow EP ranges allow temporary underground stormwater storage applications beneath green areas, light traffic roads or heavy traffic roads (vertical compression resistance up to 60 T/m²) and allow cover heights up to 4.30 m (EP600 block).
We assist you in choosing the appropriate strength.
Applications include fire reserves, drainage trenches, infiltration basins and stormwater retention tanks.

Key benefits :
These are clean, self-cleaning systems with no clogging risk thanks to the diffuser drain at the bottom of the structure.
Honeycomb blocks are equipped on both sides with a 45 g/m² geotextile.
The structure is hydro-cleanable and camera-inspectable via the internal drain.
The lightweight material (35 to 50 kg/m³) allows easy and economical installation. The excellent chemical resistance of polypropylene reduces the risk of damage from accidental pollution.
Polypropylene blocks are non-polluting for groundwater.
They are insensitive to water level fluctuations and to load recovery in wet environments.

Recycled and recyclable polypropylene

Excavation includes the footprint of the basin and a secured access area of at least 0.50 m around the structure.
A 300 g/m² geotextile or waterproofing membrane is installed to form the envelope of the basin. It is placed on the bedding layer, raised along the sides, and installed on top after module placement.
Modules are placed according to the predefined layout plan (up to 100 m³/day per person).
Upstream and downstream inspection chambers are connected by installing external diffusion in a granular bed between or beneath the first level of blocks.
A ventilation system ensures proper function during water filling.
The basin is then backfilled on the sides without creating asymmetrical stresses and covered with compacted upper fill applied in successive layers.
