Grass Parking Systems
Create driveable parking areas and access routes on natural grass
Nidagrass grass reinforcement grids enable the construction of grass car parks and driveable access routes while maintaining a natural grass surface. Their cellular structure stabilises the subgrade and distributes vehicle loads, preventing rutting, subsidence and waterlogging.
Three models are available — NG040, RG035 and Ocity NGR65 — to cover the full range of traffic loads, from occasional pedestrian use to heavy vehicles and emergency access routes. The NG040 is also supplied in four colours for seamless integration into landscaped environments.
Choose the right grass reinforcement grid for your project
Slab NG040
The nidagrass NG040 grass slabs are low-density recycled polyethylene (LDPE) panels designed to be grass-filled. They were specifically developed to provide a stable and driveable grass surface, preventing the formation of ruts, depressions, or puddles.
Slab RG035
The Nidaplast RG035 slab is an ideal choice for reinforcing existing grassed surfaces. This polyethylene panel has been specifically designed for renovating trafficable areas covered with grass. It provides a practical and effective solution to improve surface stability and reduce sinking.
Slab NGR65
The Ocity slab stabilizes both gravel and grassed surfaces while preserving soil permeability. Its honeycomb structure provides excellent mechanical strength and ensures a stable, driveable surface as well as deep grass rooting. Ideal for urban landscaping, it combines functionality, drainage, and long-lasting aesthetics.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which grid should I choose for my project?
Nidagrass RG035: pedestrian areas, light traffic paths, occasional parking
Nidagrass NG040: grass car parks and driveable areas for light vehicles
Ocity NGR65: high-load zones, technical areas, emergency access routes
Can vehicles drive over Nidagrass grids?
Yes. Their high-strength cellular structure distributes loads and protects the root system.
They accommodate light to medium vehicles (cars, utility vehicles, maintenance vehicles) while preserving the natural grass appearance.
Can the grids be supplied pre-grassed?
Yes, NG040 and Ocity NGR65 can be supplied pre-grassed using our national network of turf partners.
This ensures an immediate visual result, with no waiting time for grass growth.
What ground preparation is required?
The ground must be level and well drained, with a suitable foundation layer depending on use.
The grids are laid on sand or draining aggregate, filled with substrate and then seeded or turfed.

Nidaplast designs and manufactures grass reinforcement grids for grass car parks, driveable access routes and fire lanes. The Nidagrass range (NG040, RG035) and Ocity NGR65 slab use a cellular polyethylene structure to stabilise natural grass under vehicle loads. The NG040 (LDPE, 40 mm) suits light-vehicle grass car parks; the RG035 is used to renovate existing grassed surfaces; the NGR65 (65 mm) supports heavy vehicles and emergency access routes. All products are permeable, compliant with sustainable urban drainage requirements, and manufactured in France.
