Nidaplast 8FR: flame retardant honeycomb core.

The nidaplast 8FR is a honeycomb structure serving as a core for the production of structural sandwich panels.

It retains all the characteristics of nidaplast 8 but the honeycomb is provided with a component limiting the propagation of flames, (without the use of halogen).

Its properties therefore make it an ideal material for use in the building sector. In fact, nidaplast 8FR products associated with coatings make it possible to obtain sandwich panels meeting the "Euroclass" standard defined in European standard EN 13501-1 + A1.

Possibility of fire or rail classification of the sandwich panel

Depending on the choice of coatings, it is possible to obtain a classification B s2 d0.

In the railway sector, honeycomb 8FR nidaplast associated with suitable coatings can achieve an HL3 classification according to standard EN 45545.
