NIDAPLAST RAZS
The nidaplast RA-ZS (Sterile Zone) product is a block of extruded honeycombs in very light polypropylene. Its small dimensions (600 x 400 mm) are suitable for creating a sterile area on a garden roof (replacing gravel, pozzolana, etc.). They provide access to the sealing lifts in the sterile area. The blocks are available in 3 thicknesses: 100 - 250 or 500 mm. Other thicknesses can be studied on request from a certain volume.
Realization of sterile zone in Nidaplast RAZS
In accordance with DTU 43, it is necessary to create a sterile zone deliberately devoid of vegetation as part of the development of a garden roof. These sterile zones allow easier access to the waterproofing statements on the periphery of the roof and at the level of ventilation, skylights, etc.
The width of a sterile strip is at least 40 cm. The nidaplast RA-ZS honeycomb modules are perfectly adapted, easy to position and are above all ultra light honeycomb structures.
On the surface of these sterile areas, the nidaplast RA-ZS blocks can accommodate nidagravel plates to obtain a gravel finish. The gravel is then trapped in the cells and does not escape under the effect of the wind or trampling.
The nidaplast RA-ZS blocks have a high compressive strength (300 kPa) and exhibit good resistance to acids, chemicals, micro-organisms, molds and rodents.
