The AZbox system allows for the creation of public or private underground SAUL-type structures to ensure the collection, storage, and discharge of rainwater by infiltration and/or by controlled flow evacuation.
Water is introduced directly into the structure from one or more injection points. The water circulation within the elementary modules is then three-dimensional.
To limit the input of solid elements into the storage structure, particular attention will be paid during the study phase.

The constituent parts of the AZbox are lightweight and easy to install. Stackable, they optimize logistics during transport and on-site, with a limited footprint. They assemble to create a solid and resistant unit with excellent load-bearing capacity.
The spacing between the module posts, combined with the creation of inspection shafts, allows for inspection and hydro-cleaning via a 350 mm linear channel.

The excavation encompasses the basin’s footprint and a secure access zone of at least 0.50 m around the perimeter of the structure. A bedding layer is installed to ensure the stability of the structure and facilitate its installation. A 300 g/m² geotextile or a waterproofing complex is installed to create the basin’s envelope. They are laid on the bedding layer and brought up the lateral faces of the structure. They will be placed on the upper face of the modules at the end of their installation. The modules are installed according to the layout plan previously established during the site preparation phase. For the proper functioning of the structure, access points and ventilation devices will be installed in agreement with the project management and client. For inspection shafts, saw discs between the posts at each level. For ventilation, saw a disc only on the last layer of the basin. Install an adapter sleeve, then a corrugated pipe. Provide a concrete frame and cast iron cover suitable for road finishing. The basin is then backfilled laterally, ensuring no asymmetrical stresses are created on the structure, and then covered by the upper backfill compacted in successive layers.
